Day 99 since the lockdown was declared. It seems like ages ago!

As for me, it's quite a challenge because of my comorbidities  to really go out in the wide wide world of mall shopping and dining. At times you also feel like eating the same things over and over. Ordering out is an even bigger challenge not because of the lack of options but the patience and more patience to coordinate. So here we are looking for ways to change up or shake up the food that we eat.

Am going to share what we had for the day and am quite pleased with what Ate Irene came up. It's called Sausage and Pork Giniling Menudo. The recipe was taken from Casa Veneracion's 15 minute Ground Pork Menudo with Quail Eggs Rice Bowl.

Ate Irene's twist is she didn't use chili and instead used red pepper. She also used the garlic longganisa given by a good friend :) My friend ordered the garlicky longganisa from Koyen's Food Packs. If you're interested the links are below.

So here's the final product! Really really good!

Ha! So I finally started a blog. It has been a wild ride since this pandemic began and since then it has been a lot of firsts for me. My way I guess, of coping.

Let me enumerate some.... I did learn how to cut my hubby's hair! It was scary at first with all those contraptions that you attach to the razor. Thankful that he's forgiving enough to let me do it again and again and again! Success!!!

Another first is FB live. Well technically not the first but it was a fairly consistent occurrence in my weekend life :D So I consider it a FIRST. It was also fun doing it especially when Ian is there. We're weird together on and off cam and I guess it was a treat if not horrifyingly boring for some.

Then now, this blog. No reason really ... I just wanted to share my thoughts on things that I think will help so there ... Hence the birth of this blog.
